Restorative Yoga Therapeutics (50 hr. course)
As we become more aware of mental health and well-being, Western culture is starting to see a shift in the direction, understanding and practice of yoga.
Practices such as Restorative Yoga are now being taught as mindbody medicine. Restorative yoga classes provide a foundation to balance the emotions and restore the central nervous system, bringing the practitioner into the para-sympathetic nervous system for balancing the MindBody connection and restoring all of the physical and energetic systems within the body and mind.
This course is based on the works of:
Bo Forbes, a clinical psychologist, yoga teacher and integrative yoga therapist who specializes in the synergy of yoga, mindfulness, neuroscience, movement studies and emotional balance.
Judith Lasater, a doctorate in East-West psychology, a physical therapist and yoga teacher since 1971.
Amy Weintraug, a senior Kripalu (Yoga) teacher and award-winning fiction writer.
